Technology & Bio-Conversion Platform
A standardized biochemical method converting high-silica paddy straw into selective, nutrient-rich compost bed substrate for Agaricus bisporus. Developed and validated at MIET Incubation Forum under Ministry of MSME backing.
Three Engineered Bio-Stages
Substrate Chemistry & C:N Balancing
Balancing raw straw C:N ratio from 80:1 down to 25:1 using calibrated inorganic nitrogen, wheat husk, and gypsum to establish a selective microbial base exclusive to Agaricus bisporus mycelium.
Controlled 10-Turning Aeration
A 10-turning fermentation regimen that manages microbial heat, eliminates anaerobic pockets, dissipates free ammonia, and integrates scheduled antiseptic and fungicide protection over 40–48 days.
Sterilized Casing & Microclimate
Application of sterilized cocopeat treated with 2% formalin solution to create a moisture-retentive, non-nutritive layer triggering rapid fruiting body initiation and pinhead formation.
Laboratory-Engineered, Field-Deployable
Developed under the incubation initiative of the Ministry of MSME at MIET Meerut, the protocol is engineered for low-cost implementation in rural farm sheds without expensive climate-control machinery.
